On the verge of entering the real world, Birdie plans on graduating this December with a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations and a minor in Communication Studies. She has no idea what happens after 3pm on December 12th (her commencement ceremony if you couldn't guess), but once the retirement money starts coming in she has grand plans to open up her own bookstore/children's theatre where she can live out her remaining days reading, writing, and entertaining.
With a heart to serve others, Birdie has high hopes that the next thirty years involve paying off student loans while simultaneously ridding the world of hunger and stray dogs.
In her free time you can find Birdie hiking with her adopted mutt, Jacks; indulging in her current obsession of WWII bios that revolve around people's stories and not the war's; and writing sappy love letters to her Army Strong boyfriend.
